Each year, McKinsey & Company consultants may apply for a four month externship to work with Civic Consulting Alliance on one or more high-impact Chicago projects.

Externs are integrated into Civic Consulting project teams, offering a unique opportunity to build public-sector consulting expertise while making a tangible difference in the city. Likewise, the program provides Civic Consulting with valuable resources to assist with its high-impact projects.

Applicants must have 12 months of experience at McKinsey. Both Associate Consultants and Consultants are welcome to participate in the externship. The Externship starts late 2010, depending on project schedules.
