Aleca Stirling

Aleca joined Civic Consulting Alliance as a Civic Fellow in the summer of 2010 after completing her first year as a joint degree student pursuing a MPP/MBA from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy and Booth School of Business.  At Civic Consulting Alliance, Aleca worked in partnership with Leadership Greater Chicago to develop a layman’s guide to the civic landscape of Chicago.
Prior to graduate school, Aleca worked in financial services with New York Life Insurance Company where she earned several accolades for her ability to find unique solutions to clients’ estate planning dilemmas.   Aleca was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and wrote her undergraduate Senior Thesis on Mayor Richard J. Daley’s role in the 1968 Democratic National Convention.   This paper is currently in the Chicago History Museum. Aleca graduated with a BA in History from Princeton University.
