Claire Tramm

Claire Tramm joined Civic Consulting as a Civic Fellow in 2009 while on Secondment from McKinsey and Company, a global management consulting firm.

During her two years at McKinsey, she advised a variety of clients in the financial, energy, consumer products, public, and social sectors and had the opportunity to work on several strategy, operations, and knowledge development projects identifying cost-effective options for sustainability.

While at Civic Consulting, Claire worked closely with the Chicago Department of Environment to lead City department and sister agency implementation of the Chicago Climate Action Plan. She also worked with the Chicago Workforce Investment Council and Chicago Jobs Council to develop workforce development strategies for green jobs in Chicago's retrofit, clean energy, transportation, and waste management industries based on research, interviews, and labor market modeling.
