Kelsey Burr
Kelsey Burr joined the Civic Consulting Alliance in 2011. Kelsey has over 15 years of experience working for a diverse range of public and private sector organizations. He joined Civic Consulting from Barclays Capital where he held a wide variety of roles in strategic planning, credit sales and derivatives structuring. In each of those roles, he worked across business lines and geographies coordinating teams to build businesses and develop and serve clients. Before joining Barclays Capital, Kelsey was a Project Leader in the Chicago office of the Boston Consulting Group where he worked with clients in the industrial goods, consumer goods, transportation and financial services sectors. Kelsey also spent three years in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Bank Supervision Department developing supervisory policy and reviewing the risk management activities of complex banking organizations, securities depositories, and foreign financial institutions.
Kelsey’s interests lie in furthering the economic development of Chicago and making the city a great place for families to live and work.
Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in Government and History from Georgetown University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
