Michael Dennis

Michael Dennis joined Civic Consulting Alliance in 2011.  Michael has had a 25 year career in management consulting, including 19 years with Accenture, and later as an independent consultant. 

Michael has a long track record of successfully delivering large-scale change programs and managing IT operations, and has worked primarily in the US Utilities industry.  His process expertise spans customer care, meter-to-cash, workforce management, and industry restructuring, and he has managed complex multi-site, multi-source teams with on-shore and off-shore components.  Michael also owned several significant client relationships for Accenture’s North American Utilities Client Group, and was responsible for one of Accenture’s Resources Market Unit Communities in Chicago.

Michael has been a Chicago resident since 1999, and looks forward to employing his expertise and energy towards making Chicago a greater global city.  His primary client focus with CCA is City Colleges of Chicago, which is in the midst of a transformative reinvention program.

Michael has an MBA, with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BA, with honors, in Computer Science and Economics from Denison University.
