Robert Rein
Rob Rein joined the Civic Consulting Alliance in 2011 as a Civic Fellow while completing his undergraduate degree in Government at Dartmouth College.
Rob is a research assistant in the Dartmouth Government Department and is studying voting behavior in American elections. He is pursuing an Honors Thesis on this topic. He was a policy debater for six years, researching and debating topics such as farm subsidies, nuclear weapons policy, and African health assistance. He is a James O. Friedman Presidential Scholar, Rockefeller Center Grant recipient, and the winner of the 2011 Dartmouth Case Competition. He also studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
At Civic Consulting Alliance, Rob worked on Mayor Emanuel's transition. He was responsible for benchmarking City finances and operations, and also researched strategic opportunities for improving Chicago tourism, culture and amenities, and departmental consolidation and integration.
