Zarina Parpia

Zarina Parpia joined Civic Consulting Alliance as an Associate Principal in 2010 after spending the summer of 2009 with the organization as a Civic Fellow.

At Civic Consulting, Zarina worked with the Chicago Recovery Partnership (a partnership between foundations, non-profits, and the City of Chicago to ensure that the stimulus funds were well spent) on projects designed to increase the efficiency of public services.  Zarina also worked under the Public Safety program area, where she led a violence-reduction project. 

Before joining Civic Consulting Alliance, Zarina spent time as a member of the management team at an environmental planning firm in Hanoi, Vietnam.   Prior to that, she worked for four years as a consultant with ZS Associates in New York, focusing on strategic issues within the healthcare industry.  Zarina holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
