Top firms provide their services pro bono on Civic Consulting Alliance projects because the work has great impact on the viability of the metropolitan area, gives back to the community, and adds to the professional development of their staff.
Civic Consulting Alliance customizes each partnership to meet your company's expectations. Typical partnership models include:
- Project teams. Management consulting firms typically assign a team of project manager plus two consultants full time for two to four months to work on a single project.
- On-loan executives. Many different types of companies, from architecture to law to manufacturing to warehousing, place an associate or executive on a project on part-time or full-time basis.
- Fellows. Professional service firms sponsor their senior and mid-level staff to spend four months to a year full time with Civic Consulting. During that time, the fellow will typically work on several projects.
- Advisory boards. Civic Consulting's long-term projects typically have advisory boards. Many partners choose to lend an expert from their company to serve on an advisory board.
