Project Description:
In August 2007, Mayor Daley established the 21st Century Commission as a year-long effort to look across City government to define how the City should direct its resources.
Staffed and coordinated by Civic Consulting Alliance, the Commission publicly released its final report containing 64 recommendations for improvements to City government.
Taken together, the ideas represented the potential to save millions of dollars per year and to further build prosperity and expand opportunities for Chicago residents, businesses, and communities.
