Project Description:

Civic Consulting Alliance managed the Recovery Partnership, Mayor Richard M. Daley's ARRA collaboration with the Chicago philanthropic community.

We helped secure and invest roughly $2 billion in federal stimulus funding.  More than 50 foundations joined the City, other municipal agencies such as Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Transit Authority, and local universities in an 18-month partnership to:

  • Increase the nonprofit sector's ability to implement the recovery programs
  • Promote transparency of spending and outcomes
  • Ensure the sustainable metropolitan legacy of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
