Lantern Partners, working through the Civic Consulting Alliance, led an executive search on behalf of the City Colleges of Chicago to recruit their new Chief of Staff. This role, that reports to the Chancellor of the City Colleges, Cheryl Hyman, is a key figure in running the operations and driving the reinvention program. This challenge in this type of search is to find a person with a passion for education, a collaborative personal style that can succeed in government, transformation experience, and a home residence in Chicago. In the end, an exceptional internal candidate was selected for the role.
