CTA Supply Chain

The CTA Supply Chain project streamlined supply-chain management to optimize inventory levels and reduce the overhead cost of inventory. Governmental Solutions, LLC and D2C Ventures created a process map of the supply chain and provided recommendations to target efforts to optimize inventory levels and reduce the cost of the supply chain. Working with senior management and bringing in external best practices, the team provided recommendations to reduce inventory levels by $40 million and deliver a more efficient supply process.

As noted in the recent Civic Federation report on CTA’s 2012 budget, “The CTA administration has instituted efficiencies [such as] improving supply chain processes… The Civic Federation commends these efforts."
