Project Description:
The City's Troubled Buildings Initiative combines the efforts of Police, Buildings, Law, and Housing to eliminate gangs' operating bases in the neighborhoods.
To enhance this effort, in 2006, Civic Consulting Alliance extended the City's performance management framework to address this inter-departmental initiative.
As a result, processing time for inspection of gang houses fell from 128 days to 8 days.
