Julie joined Civic Consulting Alliance in June 2019 as a Summer Associate.
Previously, Julie worked in college affordability at uAspire, a Boston-based nonprofit. She focused on financial aid award letters—conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, training practitioners to effectively review award letters with students, and supporting policy reforms to increase transparency and standardization of award letters among institutions. Prior to uAspire, Julie worked at Curriculum Associates, an education technology company, where she held a variety of roles including product marketing, product management and strategic planning.
Julie has a bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and minored in Applied Linguistics. She is currently pursuing an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In her spare time, Julie enjoys getting to know Chicago, playing ultimate frisbee, and spending time with friends and family.
