Andrell is an Associate Director at Protiviti. As a Protiviti Fellow at Civic Consulting Alliance, Andrell is supporting work with the Partnership for Safe and Peaceful Communities.

Prior to Protiviti, Andrell spent seven years at KPMG and seven years leading internal audit and business process improvement at the Chicago Transit Authority and Chicago Public Schools. With more than 15 years of leadership experience, Andrell has collaborated with boards and management to improve governance, implement strategies, evaluate and manage risk, and drive business process improvements and operational efficiencies. He has diverse industry experience across the public sector, nonprofits, manufacturing, banking, consumer goods, retail, and public sector.

Andrell has an MBA from Roosevelt University, and is a certified public accountant.

Andrell is Co-Chair of the Board of Legacy Charter School in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood. He recently presented on the topic of “The CAE’s Role in Major Projects and Transformational Initiatives” at the Institute of Internal Auditors’ Annual Chicago Seminar, and presented “Internal Audit: What They Do and How They Focus a Company’s Strategy?” at the Practicing Law Institute’s Pocket MBA program.
