Kevin Nigarura


Kevin is an Associate at Civic Consulting Alliance. He joined the organization as an Analyst in July 2017.

Prior to joining the Civic Consulting team, Kevin spent a year abroad in Gaborone, Botswana through the Princeton in Africa fellowship program. While in Botswana, Kevin taught history to 7th, 8th, and 9th graders at Maru-a-Pula school. His other experiences include serving as an employment intern at Heartland Alliance’s Refugee and Immigrant Community Services department and providing research and social media coverage for Northwestern’s Center for Forced Migration Studies.

Kevin was born in Montreal, Canada but was raised in Centerville, Ohio. He graduated from Northwestern University in 2016 with a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys singing acapella, reading historical and philosophical texts, and tasting anything smothered in BBQ sauce.
