Nicole is Development Director at Civic Consulting Alliance. She joined the organization in May 2021.
Nicole is a dynamic fundraising professional with over a decade of experience supporting the missions of nonprofit organizations through development work. Prior to joining Civic Consulting Alliance, she was Director of Major Gifts at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. In this role she was responsible for managing the organizational portfolios of individual and foundation major gift donors, as well as for building and overseeing the organization’s development research and prospect management function.
Prior to her work with Ronald McDonald House, Nicole served as Director of Development for Strategic Initiatives at the Brookings Institution, a leading think tank in Washington, DC, where she oversaw fundraising activity for the Institutions’ Office of the Centennial Scholar and the Executive Vice President’s Office, as well as Brookings’ three overseas centers. Nicole has also worked in higher education and the arts in both Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Washington, DC, and is passionate about the impact of nonprofit organizations of all types on people and communities, and the power of philanthropy to make that possible.
Nicole graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and currently resides in Wheaton, Illinois with her husband, Mark.
