Richard Wu


Richard joined Civic Consulting Alliance as an analyst in July 2019, and currently focuses on projects within the Public Safety and Criminal Justice platform.

Prior to joining Civic Consulting Alliance, Richard worked for City Year, an education nonprofit dedicated to helping students and schools succeed in Chicago. In his time at City Year, Richard taught and tutored 9th graders in biology at Sullivan High School, and coached for the wrestling and football teams.

Richard lived in China and Canada before settling in Chicago in 2003. He has a B.A. in Environmental Biology and Operations and Supply Chain Management from Washington University in St. Louis. In his spare time, Richard enjoys hiking, scouring Spotify for new music, and playing in a touch rugby league.
