Eleanor Perrone Toriski
Chief Operating Officer
Eleanor is Chief Operating Officer at Civic Consulting Alliance. She joined the organization in 2018, and has since co-created and leads Civic Consulting Alliance's comprehensive fundraising, storytelling, and operational strategy.
Eleanor is a mission-driven leader with nearly 20 years of experience in the social impact sector, a deep knowledge of the Chicago nonprofit, philanthropic, and educational landscapes, and a demonstrated dedication to equity in education and beyond. Prior to joining Civic Consulting Alliance, Eleanor served in development and communications roles making an impact in the Chicago region at Embarc, New Leaders, Facing History and Ourselves, and The Black Star Project.
Eleanor sustains her commitment to education equity through service as Co-Chair of Embarc's Auxiliary Board. She is also active and engaged in strengthening a regional social sector that engages and retain talent in an inclusive and sustainable manner - she was selected for the 2025 cohort of the Civic Leadership Academy (based at the University of Chicago Center for Effective Government and the Harris School of Public Policy), and is a member of the communities of the Nonprofit Network for Strategic Operations and Finance (at The Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business) and of The Allstate Foundation's Executive Leadership Program (formerly known as the Greater Good Nonprofit Leaders Program).
Eleanor earned her bachelor's degree in History and French from Carleton College, and her Master of Public Administration from the Stuart School of Business at Illinois Institute of Technology.
