Krista graduated with a BS in Business Administration from New York University and later earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, where she concentrated in education policy and social and economic inequity. While at UChicago, she won the annual Policy Innovation Challenge and served on the board of the Black Policy Review.

Prior to joining Civic Consulting Alliance, Krista served as a Strategic Initiatives Fellow at World Business Chicago, supporting research and strategic initiatives to strengthen Chicago's economy and quality of life. She also brings experience in consulting, philanthropy, and education through her work with Bell Creek Consulting, Chicago Public Schools, Partnership for College Completion, and Bottom Line. Her work has focused on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, program development, and advancing initiatives that promote economic mobility and educational opportunity.

Outside of work, Krista enjoys trying new restaurants, attending community events, and working out.
