Nikki Way is a communications and marketing strategist with more than 15 years of experience advancing mission-driven work across the nonprofit and B2B sectors. As a Senior Associate at Civic Consulting Alliance, she co-leads storytelling and outreach strategies that elevate the organization’s partnerships with government and civic leaders to address critical challenges in the Chicago region.

Prior to joining Civic Consulting Alliance, Nikki served as Director of Development and Communications at Onward Neighborhood House, where she led major fundraising campaigns, managed multilingual marketing, and redefined the organization’s brand identity—resulting in a 400% increase in annual appeal donations and significant growth in foundation support. She also managed marketing and special events at Association House of Chicago and has supported dozens of nonprofits and artists through her consulting and design practice.

Nikki holds a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Columbia College Chicago. She serves as co-chair of the GROW Environmental Commission and volunteers for local initiatives that contribute to environmental and community health. Outside of work, she dabbles in collage and print art and enjoys gardening.
